Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Dimir tempo list led by Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow. The strategy revolves around deploying cheap, unblockable one-drop creatures on Turn 1 and cheating Yuriko onto the battlefield on Turn 2 using Commander Ninjutsu. By connecting with Ninjas, the deck triggers Yuriko's ability to draw cards and reveal the top card of the library, dealing damage equal to its mana value to every opponent simultaneously. The list leverages high-mana spells with alternate casting costs, such as Blinkmoth Infusion, Temporal Trespass, and In Garruk's Wake, to deal massive life loss while maintaining operational efficiency. Top-of-library manipulation and extra-turn spells rapidly accelerate table elimination, while free counterspells like Force of Will and Fierce Guardianship protect key plays.
