$100 Budget - Kykar Polymorph

Format: Commander

Commander: Kykar, Wind's Fury

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Jeskai "polymorph" deck built around Kykar, Wind's Fury turning every noncreature spell into a 1/1 Spirit token, then offering those Spirits to transformation spells - Polymorph, Mass Polymorph, Proteus Staff, Indomitable Creativity, Synthetic Destiny, and Lukka, Coppercoat Outcast - in exchange for one of the deck's ten curated, game-ending flyers. The army is small but spectacular: Aurelia, the Warleader chains extra combats, Gisela, Blade of Goldnight doubles all damage, Blast-Furnace Hellkite grants double strike, Salvation Colossus pumps the team, and Serra's Emissary plus Sephara, Sky's Blade protect the board. The primary kill is a single overwhelming combat turn in which Aurelia's extra combat phases and Gisela's damage doubling are applied repeatedly to a board of evasive bombs, while Skullclamp and a deep cantrip layer keep the spells flowing. Secondary beats come from Kykar's Spirit swarm, Ovika, Enigma Goliath's hasty goblins, and hardcast angels if the transformation plan is disrupted.
