Deck overview

This Selesnya deck builds infinite lifegain loops to create infinite tokens and counters. The main engine pairs Scurry Oak or Herd Baloth or Basking Broodscale with Heliod, Sun-Crowned or Archangel of Thune and a soul-sister effect like Soul Warden, Suture Priest, or Prosperous Innkeeper. Each new creature gains life, which puts counters on the Oak/Baloth, which makes another creature, which gains life again. Trostani, Selesnya's Voice adds life on every creature entry and can populate tokens but is not required; the true hidden commanders are Heliod and Archangel. Backup wins use Felidar Sovereign at 40 life, Halo Fountain with fifteen tapped creatures, or Aetherflux Reservoir, plus large combat via Blossoming Bogbeast and Gavony Township.
