Beorn to be fierce by Bleeding-gums-Murphy

Format: Commander

Commander: Beorn the Fierce

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Beorn the Fierce leads a Bear-tribal value build: a 6/6 trample commander that makes every other Bear bigger and draws two cards once the board has three Bears. The deck uses green ramp to cast him early, fills the board with cheap Bears, changeling Shapeshifters and token makers, then wins with a large trampling/infect attack or a fight-engine lock. Ayula, Queen Among Bears is the hidden commander, and Goreclaw accelerates high-power spells. Secondary avenues are Bear-token generation, Beastmaster Ascension, and the expensive Apex Altisaur + Eldrazi Monument clean-up. There is no double-faced commander in the build; Beorn, Reluctant Host is a flexible adventure creature rather than a second face.
