Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Rakdos group slug and midrange combo build led by Ob Nixilis, Captive Kingpin. The strategy revolves around weaponizing incremental, symmetrical life loss to fuel Ob Nixilis's triggered ability. By deploying redundant low-cost pingers such as Underworld Dreams, Scrawling Crawler, Orcish Bowmasters, and Sabotender, every opponent draw, spell, or land drop chips away at life totals while feeding +1/+1 counters and exile impulse card advantage into Ob Nixilis. As Ob Nixilis rapidly swells into an evasive aerial juggernaut, the deck transitions into lethal combat swings, bolstered by extra combats from Overpowering Attack. Concurrently, Ob Nixilis's impulse churn digs aggressively for All Will Be One, establishing a deterministic two-card infinite damage loop that finishes all three opponents on the spot. While exceptionally potent at punishing passive and draw-heavy tables, the deck relies heavily on Ob Nixilis to generate card flow and lacks stack interaction against opposing noncreature combos.
