Deck overview

Led by Thorin Oakenshield, this Boros deck merges Dwarf tribal synergy with a formidable Equipment aggression plan. The deck rapidly curves out with low-mana Dwarves such as Magda, Brazen Outlaw, Dwalin, Weaponmaster, and Kíli the Resourceful, quickly meeting the Storied requirement of three historic permanents to grant the entire board permanent Ward {1}. Once assembled on Turn 4, the deck leverages cost-cheating enablers like Bruenor Battlehammer, Astor, Bearer of Blades, and Blacksmith's Talent to attach massive armaments such as Colossus Hammer, Bearded Axe, or Bloodforged Battle-Axe for zero mana. Combat multipliers including Reyav, Master Smith, Dáin Ironfoot, and Shared Animosity turn modest board states into lethal swings starting on Turn 5, systematically dispatching opponents over two response cycles to close the game around Turn 7. Robust card advantage from Akiri, Fearless Voyager and Sram, Senior Edificer sustains momentum, while resilient redundancy ensures the deck functions at peak lethality even without its commander.
