Davvol, Evincar of Rath is a Golgari aristocrats/creature-storm engine: every other creature that enters adds {B} at the cost of 1 life. The deck's primary plan is to assemble a recursive sacrifice loop-Warren Soultrader plus Gravecrawler plus Bontu's Monument-to drain the table. Secondary paths use Phyrexian Altar with Nether Traitor/Blight Mound or Chatterfang/Pitiless Plunderer to generate infinite mana and death triggers, and Craterhoof Behemoth as an overrun backup. Davvol accelerates the engine and can make loops mana-positive, but no combo requires him; the deck functions as an independent Golgari combo shell. There is no hidden commander.
