Deck overview

This deck executes a mono-black attrition strategy centered on Tinybones, Bauble Burglar. By deploying low-cost group discard pieces like Bottomless Pit, Oppression, and Cunning Lethemancer, the deck rapidly strips all three opponents of their cards. Tinybones, Bauble Burglar breaks parity on symmetrical discard by exiling those cards with stash counters and allowing you to cast them on your turn using mana of any type. Meanwhile, rack payoffs such as Liliana's Caress, Megrim, Shrieking Affliction, and Quest for the Nihil Stone punish opponents for discarding and being empty-handed. Punishing stax enchantments like Painful Quandary make every attempted opposing spell costly. Although the damage clock requires several turn cycles to grind through 120 total life, the oppressive resource starvation ensures opponents lack the cards and flexibility to mount a coordinated comeback before Tinybones, Trinket Thief or an Exsanguinate closes out the game.
