Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov enchantment and Aura control strategy commanded by Eriette of the Charmed Apple. The primary game plan revolves around casting low-cost Auras onto both your own creatures and opposing threats. Eriette turns these Auras into a defensive shield, preventing enchanted opposing creatures from attacking you or your planeswalkers, while draining life from every opponent and healing you on each of your end steps. Card draw engines like Sram, Senior Edificer, Kor Spiritdancer, and Mesa Enchantress maintain hand size as you deploy Auras, while Light-Paws, Emperor's Voice directly tutors extra enchantments into play. Goad Auras force opponents to eliminate each other in combat while your life total climbs. To close out games, the deck leverages escalating end-step drain, flying token swarms from Sigil of the Empty Throne and Archon of Sun's Grace, or an infinite drain loop between Bloodthirsty Conqueror and Enduring Tenacity.
