Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered Grixis combo and attrition strategy commanded by Doctor Doom, King of Latveria. It leverages discard mechanics, looting, and symmetrical wheel effects to generate massive card advantage while draining opponents. The primary victory condition is the compact storm engine of Underworld Breach, Brain Freeze, and Lotus Petal, which reliably executes around Turn 4 to mill all opponents out in a single turn. Outside the primary combo, the deck exerts tremendous pressure through wheel-punishing payoffs such as Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, Orcish Bowmasters, and Archfiend of Ifnir. The list features top-tier card draw engines like The One Ring and Rhystic Study, alongside a premier suite of free and efficient countermagic and removal. While lacking the absolute fastest 0-mana rocks of cEDH, its dense tutor suite, low curve, and robust interaction make it exceptionally resilient, fast, and lethal at high-power tables.
