Deck overview

This deck is a focused Mono-Green Stompy list built around Ghalta, Primal Hunger. The primary strategy deploys efficient, high-power creatures in the early turns to rapidly reduce Ghalta's casting cost from the command zone. Cards like Pugnacious Hammerskull, Steel Leaf Champion, Rhonas the Indomitable, and Gigantosaurus establish ten or more total power on the battlefield by Turn 3 or 4. This enables a Turn 4 cast of a 12/12 trampling commander for just two green mana. Once Ghalta enters, the deck converts high power into card advantage with draw engines like Garruk's Uprising, Elemental Bond, and Rishkar's Expertise. The deck finishes games through heavy combat steps empowered by stat multipliers like Unnatural Growth and overruns such as Overwhelming Stampede. While the deck recovers smoothly with backup beaters, it remains vulnerable to board wipes and lacks stack interaction against fast combo strategies.
