Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Mai and Zuko lead a Grixis Ally and historic deck focused on aggressive tempo and combat scaling. By granting flash to Ally and artifact spells, your commander lets you deploy threats, blockers, and equipment reactively on opponents turns or during combat steps. Firebending generates temporary red mana upon attacking, which immediately fuels mid-combat spells that synergize with cards like Fire Lord Azula and Zuko, Firebending Master. The primary win condition is overwhelming combat damage powered by wide Ally tribal payoffs such as Coat of Arms and Chronicle of Victory, reinforced by explosive combat finishers like Embercleave.
