Doran and his slightly thick buddies by user1717910

Format: Commander

Commander: Doran, Besieged by Time

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck leverages Doran, Besieged by Time to discount and supercharge high-toughness creatures. Doran provides mana reduction for butt-heavy permanents and triggers an attack or block buff equal to the disparity between power and toughness. The primary game plan deploys resilient, high-toughness creatures alongside toughness-matters payoffs like Bark of Doran, Tapestry Warden, and The Kingpin of Crime, which convert raw defensive stats into lethal combat damage. Support pieces such as Sapling Nursery and Eirdu, Carrier of Dawn swarm the board and maintain offensive pressure through persistent attrition.
