Ekthi, Contaminator Priest - Tico MTG by meanswell

Format: Commander

Commander: Ekthi, Contaminator Priest

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Ekthi turns every Equipment into a living weapon army. The primary plan is go-wide Equipment aggro: cast Ekthi, then drop Equipment to create 0/0 Phyrexian Germs that enter as 1/1s from Ekthi's anthem and immediately attach, building a board that scales with anthems like Elesh Norn, Inspiring Leader, and Intangible Virtue. Secondary paths are single-creature voltron kills with Kaldra Compleat, Colossus Hammer, or Argentum Armor, often tutored and cheated via Stoneforge Mystic and Sigarda's Aid. Ekthi is a multiplier and finisher, not an engine. Puresteel Paladin and Elesh Norn act as hidden commanders, providing the draw, free equip, and anthem the deck needs to close games through combat.
