Water Watcher: Stun + Krakens by user2079400

Format: Commander

Commander: The Watcher in the Water

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The deck is a mono-blue stun/control build centered on The Watcher in the Water. It uses instant-speed draw on opponents' turns to make Tentacle tokens, then sacrifices those tokens to strip the commander's stun counters and put stun counters on opposing permanents. The primary path is to stall the board with counterspells, bounce, and tap effects, then finish with The Watcher's 9/9 body and backup Krakens. Secondary lines use Opposition plus tokens to tap down lands/creatures and Kiora Bests the Sea God to steal a permanent. There is no hidden commander; the deck is built around The Watcher's trigger.
