Deck overview

This deck is an Esper topdeck-control and cheat strategy led by Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign. The primary game plan revolves around manipulating the top card of the library using cheap enablers like Sensei's Divining Top, Brainstorm, and Lim-Dûl's Vault to ensure Yennett casts massive odd-mana-value spells for free on attack. By cheating cards such as Void Winnower, Breach the Multiverse, Toxrill, the Corrosive, and Magister Sphinx into play as early as Turn 5, the deck creates overwhelming board states and asymmetric locks. While it lacks fast mana and instant-speed counterspells, it makes up for this with high functional redundancy in top-deck filters and high-impact payoffs. Opponents face severe attrition and combat pressure, culminating in a lethal combat finish by Turn 7.
