Baron Helmut Zemo In Construction (duplicated from Fik) by user3682268

Format: Commander

Commander: Baron Helmut Zemo

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Baron Helmut Zemo leads a mono-black self-mill and reanimator deck. The primary plan is to fill the graveyard through connive triggers, Stitcher's Supplier, Ripples of Undeath, and Doom Whisperer, then use Baron's boast to exile black cards with 15+ black pips by mana cost and cast up to three copied spells for free. The favored payoff is a burst of Pox Plague, Shard of the Nightbringer, and Gray Merchant of Asphodel, often backed by Syr Konrad, the Grim, whose triggers convert milling, discarding, and sacrificing into damage. Secondary paths use Living Death and Rise of the Dark Realms for mass reanimation and Gray Merchant devotion loops. Baron is the engine and finisher; Syr Konrad acts as a hidden-commander-style payoff.
