Deck overview

This Selesnya deck, helmed by Kudo, King Among Bears, is a +1/+1 counters and token-swarm strategy. Kudo levels every creature on the battlefield to a 2/2 Bear, which supercharges bear-tribal payoffs like Ayula, Queen Among Bears and Wilson, Refined Grizzly while the deck floods the board with small bodies. The core engine is counter snowballing - Cathars' Crusade, Conclave Mentor, Metastatic Evangel, and Mikaeus, the Lunarch turn every creature cast into a board-wide pump, while landfall pieces like Felidar Retreat, Maja, Bretagard Protector, and Beorn's Hospitality generate tokens and counters. The primary win is a wide, buffed combat swing amplified by Unnatural Growth doubling power each combat, with Cadira, Caller of the Small and Owlbear Cub as secondary accelerants. It is a classic midrange value deck - resilient to spot removal, vulnerable to wipes, and slow to close.
