Deck overview

This deck is a Naya Equipment Voltron build centered on Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER. The primary strategy accelerates into Cloud on Turn 4, immediately attaching an impactful Equipment such as Colossus Hammer, Buster Sword, or Blackblade Reforged via his triggered ability. Because Cloud has innate haste, he attacks on the turn he arrives, drawing cards and creating two Treasure tokens when modified to 7 or more power. The deck supplements this single-target commander damage with heavy-hitting backup combatants like Vincent, Vengeful Atoner and Tifa, Martial Artist, using extra combat steps and trample to eliminate the remaining opponents. A dense suite of protective Equipment shields the commander from spot removal and board wipes, while white recursion spells provide resilience against attrition.
