Commander: The Muckslinger Gang

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

The Muckslinger Gang is a power-matters midrange deck that uses its commander's global +3/+3 pump to turn small creatures into oversized threats. The primary plan is to generate incremental value from power-triggered draw and damage, then convert that power into direct damage through sacrifice outlets like Jarad, Ziatora, and Bloodshot Cyclops. The deck also exploits the pump in other zones for graveyard synergies with Varolz and Grenzo. It wins by accumulating drain from huge creatures, often finishing with a burst such as a Rootwire Golem sacrificed to Jarad. The deck is highly commander-dependent and lacks a fast combo, aiming to grind out opponents by turn nine or ten.
