Deck overview

Ratonhnhake:ton is an Assassin-Equipment voltron deck built to weaponize the commander's one-time hexproof and "can't be blocked" window. The first hit is virtually guaranteed, and on connection it makes a menace Assassin token and returns an Equipment from the graveyard attached to that token. The plan is to seed the yard with haymakers like Colossus Hammer or Kaldra Compleat, land the unblockable swing, then use tutor-attach engines - Stonehewer Giant, Armored Skyhunter, Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist, Sigarda's Aid - to suit up a one-shot kill. Genji Glove gives double strike plus an extra combat to kill two players in a single turn, while Ramses, Assassin Lord can convert any lethal Assassin hit into an outright game win. Arna Kennerud, Skycaptain serves as a powerful hidden commander by copying Equipment onto a growing Assassin board.
