Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov aggro-aristocrats strategy commanded by Ria Ivor, Bane of Bladehold. The primary game plan centers on converting high-power combat damage into a wide army of 1/1 Phyrexian Mite artifact creature tokens with toxic 1. Supported by early ramp, Ria Ivor enters on Turn 3 or 4 and immediately starts generating tokens. On subsequent turns, the deck amplifies this swarm using Battle Cry, pump enchantments like Cultist of the Absolute, and evasive enablers like Odric, Master Tactician or Dauthi Embrace. When combat is obstructed, aristocrat engines like Mirkwood Bats, Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim, and Corpse Knight weaponize token creation and sacrifice to drain opponents directly. The deck features a deep and versatile removal suite to answer opposing threats, balanced with defensive tools like Clever Concealment and Fanatical Devotion to protect its board against mass removal.
