Jorn Stax (Updated) by Jblanton117

Format: Commander

Commander: Jorn, God of Winter // Kaldring, the Rimestaff

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Sultai snow deck leverages Jorn, God of Winter to aggressively break symmetry on resource denial while generating massive mana advantage. By untapping snow permanents on attack, Jorn effectively doubles available mana and ignores the restrictive locks of Winter Orb, Static Orb, and Root Maze. While Kaldring, the Rimestaff provides niche graveyard recursion from the command zone, the deck almost always casts Jorn to fuel its mana engine. The primary win conditions center on creating Marit Lage via Dark Depths and Thespian's Stage or Marit Lage's Slumber, overwhelming opponents with Koma, Cosmos Serpent, or crushing through frozen boards with oversized snow beaters like Abominable Treefolk and Icebreaker Kraken.
