Life by Daminicus1

Format: Commander

Commander: Witherbloom, the Balancer

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Witherbloom, the Balancer anchors a Golgari lifegain-and-token strategy: the deck floods the board with creatures and Pest/Spirit tokens, uses affinity to cast Witherbloom and its instants/sorceries cheaply, then converts that mass into drain and reanimation value. Dina, Soul Steeper is the hidden commander, turning every life-gain trigger into opponent life loss and combining with Exquisite Blood to loop infinitely; Marauding Blight-Priest and Sanguine Bond are backups. Secondary wins are commander damage with flying/deathtouch and a token-mana Exsanguinate or Revel in Riches. Unless Exquisite Blood appears, the deck wins through incremental board damage and recursion rather than a fast tutor line.
