Deck overview

This Orzhov Aristocrats deck is commanded by Teysa Karlov, whose ability doubles all death triggers from permanents you control while granting creature tokens vigilance and lifelink. The game plan focuses on assembling three core engine pieces: recurring creature fodder, free sacrifice outlets, and drain payoffs like Blood Artist. Teysa Karlov supercharges this engine by doubling damage output, token creation, and card draw from cards like Skullclamp and Dark Prophecy. The deck also carries compact multi-card infinite combos involving Gravecrawler, Warren Soultrader, and Phyrexian Altar to instantly drain the table. Strong removal spells such as Toxic Deluge, Swords to Plowshares, and Anguished Unmaking keep opposing boards under control. While vulnerable to graveyard hate and mass exile, the deck's high card flow, redundant pieces, and resilient recursion ensure fast recovery and consistent lethality by Turn 5 or 6.
