Deck overview

This Azorius Blink Combo deck pairs Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward with Candlekeep Sage to convert temporary exile triggers into overwhelming card advantage, mana velocity, and rapid token generation. The early game focuses on deploying mana rocks and establishing Candlekeep Sage on Turn 3. On Turn 4, Abdel Adrian enters, exiling utility permanents and mana artifacts while generating a wall of 1/1 Soldier tokens and drawing a card. From Turn 5 onward, inexpensive blink spells like Ephemerate, Cloudshift, and Ghostly Flicker repeatedly trigger Candlekeep Sage upon Abdel leaving and re-entering the battlefield, while untapping exiled mana rocks and re-triggering creature tutors like Recruiter of the Guard. This velocity rapidly digs into deterministic infinite blink combos using Ghostly Flicker paired with Archaeomancer and Peregrine Drake or Naru Meha, Master Wizard. The loop converts into an immediate same-turn kill via Sunscorched Desert damage, Altar of Dementia mill, or Laboratory Maniac win conditions.
