Blech v2 by aWildSamAppears

Format: Commander

Commander: Blech, Loafing Pest

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Golgari deck, helmed by Blech, Loafing Pest, is a life-gain +1/+1 counter engine that converts every point of life gained into board-wide growth across its Pest, Bat, Insect, Snake, and Spider creatures. The commander is the payoff: each life-gain trigger puts a counter on every tribal creature, and a dense package of doublers - Corpsejack Menace, Branching Evolution, Innkeeper's Talent, Winding Constrictor, Hardened Scales - multiplies that growth exponentially. The deck wins primarily through combat with a wide, heavily-countered board, supplemented by incremental drain from Starscape Cleric and Mirkwood Bats, the repeatable pump of Germination Practicum, and Grist, the Hunger Tide's ultimate. It is a classic midrange value deck that grinds out advantage through life-gain triggers, token generation, and graveyard recursion before overwhelming opponents with sheer size.
