Deck overview

This deck is a mono-green token aggro strategy led by Shroofus Sproutsire. It uses a dense package of 1-CMC mana accelerators to consistently cast Shroofus on Turn 2. On Turn 3, cheap combat pump spells like Invigorate, Primal Bellow, and Gaea's Gift take advantage of Shroofus's trample to deal damage and generate a swarm of Saproling tokens. By Turn 4, the deck converts this token board into game-ending combat pressure through mass pump effects like Beastmaster Ascension, Return of the Wildspeaker, and Eldrazi Monument. An extensive suite of 1- and 2-mana instant-speed protection spells defends the commander and key threats from targeted removal and damage-based board wipes. While the list lacks direct tutors and broad reactive interaction, its speed, high redundancy, and explosive exponential token growth allow it to threaten full table eliminations by Turn 5.
