Deck overview

This deck is commanded by Lorehold, the Historian, a 5/5 flying, hasty Elder Dragon that transforms expensive instant and sorcery spells into game-breaking {2}-mana miracles. By triggering a discard-and-draw rummage on each opponent's upkeep, Lorehold allows you to cast high-mana spells at instant speed for just two mana on opposing turns. The primary win condition revolves around manipulating the top of the library with cards like Brainstone and Crystal Ball to draw into massive token-producing sorceries such as Storm Herd, Deploy to the Front, and Furygale Flocking. Once an overwhelming army of flying tokens enters the battlefield right before your turn, you untap and close out the table across two combat phases. The deck also features asymmetric board manipulation and land destruction like Razia's Purification and Boom // Bust to lock in advantageous boards.
