Drawing From Experience by abloodehnumpty

Format: Commander

Commander: Katara, Waterbending Master

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Katara turns spells played on other players' end steps into experience counters, then converts those counters into a large hand on her next attack. The main plan is to keep drawing, reach twenty or more cards in hand, and win with Twenty-Toed Toad's attack trigger. Backup paths are Laboratory Maniac and Jace-style deck-out wins, Psychosis Crawler drain, and a swarm of Drakes/Birds attacking through unblockable effects. Sea Gate Restoration doubles as a big hand refill and a no-maximum-hand effect. There is no hidden or double-faced commander; Katara is a single-faced commander whose front face is the deck's engine.
