Deck overview

This is a Selesnya token-populate/lifegain deck built around Trostani, Selesnya's Voice. The core plan is to generate a wide board of token creatures, gain life off every creature entering, and convert that life into card advantage, counters, and bigger tokens. Archangel of Thune, Exemplar of Light, Voice of the Blessed, Crested Sunmare, and Ocelot Pride all punish life gain, while Trostani's populate ability repeatedly copies the best token on the board. Parallel Lives and Rhys the Redeemed - effectively a hidden secondary commander - double the token output, and the game ends through a massive combat swing from Beastmaster Ascension, True Conviction, Pathbreaker Ibex, or Finale of Devastation. Angel of Destiny, Aetherflux Reservoir, and Halo Fountain provide non-combat alternative wins, and Myrel, Shield of Argive plus Shalai, Voice of Plenty make the alpha turn difficult to interact with.
