Deck overview

This mono-red Dragon tribal deck focuses on generating overwhelming airborne combat damage through Lathliss, Dragon Queen. The early game develops mana velocity using cost reducers like Dragonlord's Servant and Ruby Medallion alongside standard mana rocks. Once Lathliss enters the battlefield on turn 5, subsequent Dragon casts create 5/5 Dragon creature tokens, rapidly expanding your board presence. Payoffs like Dragon Tempest, Scourge of Valkas, and Terror of Mount Velus turn newly cast Dragons into direct burn damage and lethal double-strike combat swings. The deck includes efficient damage-based sweepers like Blasphemous Act and Chain Reaction to reset opposing boards while breaking parity with large flying threats. While the deck delivers formidable combat pressure and features strong standalone backup threats like Utvara Hellkite, it remains vulnerable to targeted removal during commander deployment and lacks stack interaction to defend its spells.
