Deck overview

Aegar Giants is a midrange tribal-damage deck whose primary plan is to build a wide Giant board, use excess-damage spells and trick damage to trigger Aegar's card draw, then turn big trampling Giants into lethal with Calamity Bearer and Gratuitous Violence. The secondary path is spell-recursion combat via Surtland Elementalist, Goliath Daydreamer, and Surge to Victory, while Surtland Flinger offers a one-shot remote damage line. There is no double-faced commander; the deck is built around Aegar's single face as a draw engine, with the Giant team and damage doublers doing the actual killing.
