Deck overview

This Dimir deck pairs Horror typal combat with aggressive mill and graveyard theft. Captain N'ghathrod grants menace to your Horror army and steals milled artifacts and creatures during your end step. The deck develops mana rocks and cost reducers before deploying aggressive Horrors that trigger combat mill. From there, you either overwhelm opponents with their own reanimated permanents or execute lethal burst mill lines using Bruvac the Grandiloquent paired with half-deck mill spells like Cut Your Losses and Traumatize. High-impact finishers like Rise of the Dark Realms, Consuming Aberration, and Guiltfeeder quickly close out games once graveyards are full.
