Deck overview

This Golgari deck operates as an Aristocrats and lifegain-drain midrange engine helmed by Dina, Essence Brewer. The deck focuses on assembling early sacrifice fodder with token generators like Ophiomancer, Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia, and Bloodghast to fuel Dina's card draw and lifegain triggers. In the mid-game, it pivots into massive burst-damage payoffs by sacrificing high-power creatures such as Yargle and Multani (18 power) or Jumbo Cactuar into Dina's activated ability, weaponizing life totals through Defiling Daemogoth, Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, and Sanguine Bond. Backed by versatile Golgari removal, token swarms via Tendershoot Dryad, and extensive graveyard recursion, the deck maintains steady pressure while grinding down opposing life totals across the table.
