Deck overview

This deck is a dedicated Grixis Superfriends and attrition control strategy helmed by Nicol Bolas, the Ravager. The deck's primary objective is to decelerate opposing game plans through dense, efficient board wipes, asymmetric discard, and search denial while deploying high-impact planeswalkers. Once a planeswalker board is established, proliferation engines like Flux Channeler, Ichormoon Gauntlet, and Inexorable Tide rapidly build loyalty counters to unlock game-ending ultimates. The deck transitions into a decisive win condition around Turn 6-7 using Deepglow Skate for instant ultimates, The Chain Veil loops with Teferi, Temporal Archmage, or a massive Torment of Hailfire against hellbent opponents. Rich in flavor and mechanical synergy, the deck leverages Bolas-themed support cards like Deliver Unto Evil and Dark Intimations alongside format staples like Mana Drain and Toxic Deluge to dominate the late game through overwhelming card advantage and resource starvation.
