Deck overview

An Orzhov lifegain-drain combo deck under Sorin of House Markov, built to convert every point of life gained into table-wide damage. The primary plan is assembling an infinite drain: any of four "whenever you gain life, opponents lose life" permanents - Sanguine Bond, Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Marauding Blight-Priest, Enduring Tenacity - combined with Exquisite Blood, which turns every opposing life loss into a life gain that re-triggers the drain. A parallel kill package uses life-halving effects (Unstoppable Slasher, Blood Tribute, Fraying Omnipotence, Tree of Perdition) with Wound Reflection to end opponents at their end step, while Panoptic Mirror imprinting Temporal Extortion grinds out an extra-turn lock. Sorin adds extort triggers that double as combo-seeders and transforms into a planeswalker whose -1 ability turns accumulated life gain into direct damage. A defensive shell of Crawlspace, No Mercy, Blind Obedience, and Authority of the Consuls buys the time to assemble.
