Deck overview

Fire Lord Ozai commands an aggressive Rakdos strategy focused on combat firebending, power-scaling sacrifices, and opponent card theft. The deck deploys early aggressive bodies to initiate combat and fuel firebending triggers. Once Ozai is on the battlefield, he converts sacrificial attackers into massive bursts of red combat mana, unlocking his {6} activated ability to steal and cast high-impact cards directly from opposing libraries. While the deck boasts explosive combat steps with threats like Ball Lightning, Avatar Roku, and Etali, it relies primarily on conventional combat damage to eliminate opponents. Its lack of tutors and dedicated stack interaction leaves it susceptible to well-timed board wipes and fast combo decks, but its steady pressure and theft mechanics provide sustained mid-game firepower.
