Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive and resilient Mardu token engine led by Vihaan, Goldwaker. The primary game plan converts utility Treasure tokens into an agile attacking force of 3/3 Construct Assassin artifact creatures with vigilance and haste. The deck accelerates through early mana rocks and low-cost creatures into powerful token generation engines like Smothering Tithe, Descent into Avernus, Lotho, Corrupt Shirriff, and Black Market Connections. Once a large hoard of artifacts is established, Vihaan leads devastating combat attacks while leaving the Treasures untapped to cast follow-up spells or crack for mana. If combat is contested, the deck pivots seamlessly into non-combat aristocrat drain using redundant damage multipliers like Mirkwood Bats, Marionette Master, and Reckless Fireweaver. Backed by premier black and white tutors, free interaction spells, and format-ceiling protection such as Teferi's Protection and Grand Abolisher, the deck maintains consistent velocity and high resilience against board wipes.
