Deck overview

This Azorius partner deck leverages Yoshimaru, Ever Faithful and Sakashima of a Thousand Faces to build an aggressive, compounding commander damage engine. Yoshimaru enters on Turn 1 and starts growing immediately from any legendary permanent. On Turn 4, Sakashima copies Yoshimaru and removes the legend rule, allowing both creatures to trigger whenever another legendary card enters the battlefield. The 99 supports this plan with numerous clone effects, legendary anthems, and evasion equipment. While the deck lacks high-speed infinite mana combos, it applies immense combat pressure early and protects its board with premier white and blue defensive spells like Teferi's Protection, Grand Abolisher, and Lightning Greaves. If Yoshimaru is contained, high-impact bombs such as Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite and Hullbreaker Horror provide powerful alternate cloning targets to close out the game.
