Deck overview

This Abzan landfall list is built around The Necrobloom: ramp to a high land count, then convert every land drop into a Plant or Zombie token while using dredge to turn the graveyard into an engine. The Gitrog Monster acts as a hidden commander, drawing cards off lands and enabling repeated play from the graveyard with Ramunap Excavator, Conduit of Worlds, and Aftermath Analyst. Secondary paths are wide token aggro through Avenger of Zendikar and Felidar Retreat, incidental drain from Corpse Knight and Ob Nixilis the Fallen, and a mass-reanimation finish from Eerie Ultimatum. The deck is not a combo list; it wins by grinding out tokens and lands until a global drain or huge combat turn ends the table.
