Deck overview

This Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow list executes a high-velocity tempo burn strategy. The deck deploys evasive one-drop creatures on Turn 1 to enable Commander ninjutsu on Turn 2, placing Yuriko directly onto the battlefield tapped and attacking. Yuriko's combat damage trigger bypasses the standard commander tax, refills the hand, and burns each opponent simultaneously based on the revealed card's mana value. Topdeck manipulation tools like Scroll Rack, Brainstorm, and Lim-Dûl's Vault place high-cost spells such as Shadow of Mortality and Temporal Trespass onto the library to deal massive burst damage. Extra-turn spells allow the deck to chain consecutive combat steps, quickly closing out games while free interaction like Fierce Guardianship and Deadly Rollick protects the engine.
