Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir Zombie tribal aristocrats engine helmed by Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver. It seeks to develop an aggressive, synergistic board of Zombies that generates incremental card advantage and decayed tokens upon death. Wilhelt turns every sacrificed nontoken Zombie into card draw and replacement fodder, fueling aristocrat drains from Ayara, First of Locthwain and Bontu's Monument. The deck transitions into the mid-to-late game by going wide with lord buffs from Undead Warchief and Death Baron, or by establishing devastating drain states via Gray Merchant of Asphodel and The Scarab God. Additionally, it packs a compact infinite loop with Gravecrawler and Phyrexian Altar to finish games on the spot with a drain outlet. Graveyard recursion tools ensure durability against standard removal, though the deck must be mindful of mass exile and fast combo strategies.
