Deck overview

This deck is an explosive Boros Equipment Voltron engine piloted by Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist and Rograkh, Son of Rohgahh. It leverages Rograkh's {0} mana cost and built-in keywords (first strike, menace, trample) alongside Ardenn's free equip ability at combat. By bypassing high equip costs on powerhouse cards like Colossus Hammer, Kaldra Compleat, and the complete Sword cycle, the deck establishes an overwhelming commander damage threat as early as Turn 3. Dense equipment tutors such as Stoneforge Mystic, Open the Armory, and Fighter Class provide exceptional consistency, while damage multipliers like Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar and Jeska, Thrice Reborn convert single-target Voltron aggression into simultaneous multi-player eliminations. Redundant extra-combat triggers and the infinite Godo, Bandit Warlord plus Helm of the Host line provide rapid closing power. The strategy is vulnerable to well-timed spot removal before combat attachment and lacks broad interactive disruption, but features robust protective spells to preserve its board.
