The Cooler (Cheaper) Henzie by user5877787

Format: Commander

Commander: Henzie "Toolbox" Torre

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Henzie "Toolbox" Torre is the engine of a Jund blitz-reanimator deck. The primary plan is to cast large creatures with blitz, attacking immediately for value and letting the natural end-step sacrifice fill the graveyard while drawing cards; reanimation spells and Chainer, Nightmare Adept then convert those graveyard bodies into repeatable threats. Secondary paths use Living Death, Bringer of the Last Gift, and Greater Good to turn the graveyard into a mass resource, with Gray Merchant of Asphodel and Archon of Cruelty as the main life-swing finishers. Henzie is the draw/haste engine, and the deck is built around his blitz ability; there is no hidden commander. It is a midrange value deck that wins by attrition rather than a single combo.
