Deck overview

This deck is an Esper token-aggro and control strategy led by Alela, Artful Provocateur. Alela converts every cast artifact and enchantment into an evasive 1/1 flying Faerie token while simultaneously buffing all flying creatures and providing a lifelink buffer. The early turns focus on developing mana rocks and low-cost enchantments. Once Alela enters on Turn 4, the deck rapidly produces a wide aerial board, turning cheap utility pieces into significant combat pressure. Powerful draw engines like Kindred Discovery and Enduring Innocence keep the hand full, while anthem effects and duplication cards such as Renewed Solidarity accelerate the clock. Disruption pieces like Cyclonic Rift, Grave Pact, and Fierce Guardianship keep opposing boards clear and defend key permanents. In addition to combat damage, the deck can pivot into an instant game-ending loop with Exquisite Blood and Sanguine Bond, providing a clean finish against stalled or heavily fortified tables.
