Commander: Sephiroth, Planet's Heir

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Dimir midrange control deck uses targeted removal, counterspells, and steady card advantage to grind down opposing boards before closing the game through incremental combat damage. The commander, Sephiroth, Planet's Heir, acts as a high-impact stabilizer that shrinks opposing armies on entry and grows into a lethal threat as opposing creatures die. Backed by resilient beaters like Seymour Flux, Reef Worm, and Xande, Dark Mage, the deck methodically clears blockers and exhausts enemy resources. Win conditions rely on swinging with an overwhelmingly large Sephiroth, pushing through unblockable damage with Pym Particles, or overwhelming opponents through accumulated token and midrange pressure.
