Wayta, Trainer Prodigy by Sereus

Format: Commander

Commander: Wayta, Trainer Prodigy

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Naya deck helmed by Wayta, Trainer Prodigy is a high-synergy damage-trigger machine. The primary plan is to deploy creatures that deal damage when they are dealt damage (e.g., Boros Reckoner, Stuffy Doll, Brash Taunter) and mass-damage spells (Blasphemous Act, Pyrohemia, Chain Reaction). Wayta provides haste and a fight ability, but more critically doubles any triggered ability that triggers from a creature you control being dealt damage. This turns every enrage trigger, every when dealt damage effect, and every damage-based payoff into double value. Wins come from massive, often lethal, damage chains using Toralf, God of Fury, Repercussion, or sheer volume (e.g., Coalhauler Swine + Repercussion). The deck has low tutor density and moderate draw, relying on redundancy of damage outlets.
