Deck overview

This deck is commanded by Hashaton, Scarab's Fist, an Esper engine that converts discarded creature cards into 4/4 Zombie token copies for {2}{U}. The strategy is built around looting through cards quickly using efficient enablers like Putrid Imp, Psychic Frog, Ledger Shredder, and Merfolk Looter. Once high-cost threats like Valgavoth, Terror Eater, Sire of Stagnation, or Consecrated Sphinx enter the discard step, the deck cheats them into play either via Hashaton's token-creation ability or through traditional reanimation spells such as Reanimate and Animate Dead. The deck controls opposing tempo with selective board wipes like Toxic Deluge and Supreme Verdict while overwhelming the table through sheer card advantage and evasive combat damage.
