Sultai, The Dragon Guy! by user1643061

Format: Commander

Commander: Teval, the Balanced Scale

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Teval, the Balanced Scale leads a Sultai graveyard-centric midrange deck focused on self-mill, lands-matter synergies, and recurring massive threats. The early game focuses on filling the graveyard with enablers like Grisly Salvage and Hedron Crab while ramping your mana base. Teval powers the mid-game engine by milling three cards on attacks, recovering lands, and generating a wide board of 2/2 Zombie Druid tokens whenever cards leave your graveyard. The deck closes games by casting a catastrophic Living Death, overwhelming the table with an unblockable flying board via Wonder, or sacrificing high-power monsters like Lord of Extinction and Consuming Aberration to Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord.
